For over 60 years, Saint Michael’s MATESOL program has been recognized locally and internationally as a premier learning environment for prospective teachers. With a number of programs available, all at an affordable cost, studying at St. Mike’s means you will experience a supportive and close-knit community. From a Master’s Degree to TESOL Certificate Program to ELL Endorsement, Saint Michael’s has you covered! Scroll to the bottom of the page for the list of amazing programs.

Coming together on a beautiful campus in Vermont, our faculty and students are from all over the world. During your time in the classroom, you will discuss TESOL theory and apply what you’ve learned, before implementing your skills in schools nationally or internationally.

If you have already completed TESOL courses from an approved program, you may be able to transfer up to 9 credits to our Master’s Degree. TESOL graduates from certain approved certificate programs, such as CELTA, Via Lingua, and Sookmyung University, may be eligible for advanced standing of 6 credits according to our articulation agreements.
