Graduate Education Courses

Please register as early as possible. New students should create an account at least one week in advance of the course start date to allow ample time to receive credentials and register for the course. Interested in applying to one of our programs? Please see additional program information below and visit our Graduate Admissions page.

All Graduate Education classes will meet in-person unless otherwise noted. Courses identified as ONLINE will meet synchronously unless otherwise noted. Please see the Graduate Education (GED) and TESOL (GSL) schedule below. The TESOL schedule may also be found here.

Summer 2024 registration opens for current students on March 28 and for non-matriculated students (those not currently enrolled in a program) on April 15. Please REGISTER EARLY to ensure a spot in the course(s) you plan to take. Summer classes start on Monday, May 20 with different start dates throughout the summer.

Matriculated students, new students who have paid their enrollment deposit, and non-matriculated students who have taken a graduate course at SMC in the past year may register through KnightVision Self-Service (KVSS).

Students not enrolled in a program who have not taken a graduate course at SMC before and non-matriculated students who have not taken a course in the past year must submit the Request for Account/Pre-Registration form to receive credentials to access KnightVision Self-Service (KVSS). Once credentials are received, they will then need to register through KVSS. It can take up to a week after the form is submitted, and longer over holiday breaks, to complete the registration process and have access to the online learning management system (Canvas), so please begin the process at least one week before classes start.
